bài tập về nhà của lớp Narrative Painting, lớp này rất hay nhưng phải drop rồi vì bị trùng giờ, mùa sau lấy lại.
Môn này tinh thần cũng gần giống "Sketch of the Week", tức là diễn giải 1 chủ đề cho sẵn bằng hình vẽ, theo hướng riêng của mỗi người. Post đề bài lên để anh em nào hứng thú thì làm thử.
Đề bài: Choose a phrase from the following. Create an interesting composition which clearly depicts that phrase. You may use a figure, but it is not required. Style and medium is to be your choice. Pride and professionalism should be taken in presentation.
1. It had been a struggle to escape.
2. The route would be perilous.
3. The surprise was ready.
4. The journey had been especially difficult.
5. They were prepared for a long journey.
6. All of the details had been worked out.
7. He was obsessed with safety.
8. A creature, very large, lived here.
9. The plan of attack was in place.
10. This was definitely a strange place.
11. They prepared a Mothers Day feast for Mom.
12. The mathematician was frustrated
13. It had been discovered, after decades
14. The toy maker did not expect this
15. Except for one problem, everything was perfect
16. It was obvious that someone had left in a great hurry
17. It had been well protected
18. It had been repaired many times
19. The passage of time had changed nothing about it
20. The plan had not yielded positive results
21. The transformation was amazing
22. The route would bee perilous
23. Illumination showed the way
24. The alley was not totally empty
25. The chemist was terribly concerned
26. He obviously did not understand
bài này được làm theo 3 bước: thumbnail sketches (size khoảng 2-3", vẽ càng nhiều càng tốt, khoảng 20 cái là được), 2 full value sketches (approx. 6x8"), 1 full color finished piece (approx. 12x16)
