How Big Can You Think?
Unique opportunity for a Visual Designer with a passion for creating compelling and satisfying user experiences to join the Yahoo! Vietnam team. You will work closely with designers and product managers to develop the visual presentation for a variety of consumer facing design projects.
Responsibilities
• Participate in concept development and design ideation with multidisciplinary teams
• Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user centered design process
• Create Web and/or interactive visual design executions that address business, brand, market, and user requirements, including the design and production of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements
• Produce design specifications, storyboards, scenarios, design prototypes
• Collaborate with design and product managers to refine the user experience |
| Kỹ năng yêu cầu |
Qualifications
• Strong command in English.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to grasp multiple product requirements
• Degree in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years experience as a member of a UI team participating in the complete product development lifecycle of several successfully launched web and/or software applications
• Strong design skills including screen layouts & final production art, UI flow modeling, information design, typography and UI specifications
• Able to develop new, innovative approaches to complex design problems and can convey ideas tangibly
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently as well as in cross-functional groups
• Works well in a cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders
• Can prioritize and manage work to adhere to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Must have solid grasp of graphic and web design principles and good understanding of current web technologies (html, CSS, JavaScript). Working knowledge of Flash desired.
• Knowledge of search technologies and information retrieval systems strongly desired.
