- Control specifications made by other departments (in particular, Game Design)
- Conduct feasibility studies for new features
- Advise about alternate solutions, constraints and risks
- Define the architecture of the game (write Technical Design Documents whenever needed)
- Lead the development of the game client during the entire duration of the project
- Program all critical parts, debug existing components
- Control the work done by other engineers / help them do their work better, organize code reviews
- Participate in R&D tasks under the supervision of the Head of the Dev. Department
- Research about new solutions and write articles about them, prepare/give training courses, develop mockups or full reusable components |
| Kỹ năng yêu cầu |
- Deep understanding of actual video game development (technical design, main algorithms,tools and tool chains, 3D engines, controls and other components)
- Minimum of 3 years game development experience
- Proven past experience in making 2D or 3D video games (to have participated in coding competitions as the main or unique coder is a plus)
- Proficient in C# and C++
- Deep knowledge of design patterns, their usage and their actual implementation
- Proven skills in debugging and profiling games (tweaking and/or fixing of performance or memory issues)
- Deep knowledge of network communication handling (past experience implementing a multiplayer game is a plus)
- Good understanding of iOS and Android mobile platforms (limitations, constraints, etc.)
- Fluent in English |
